TPC Jasna Polana
Golf Club built on the 230-acre country estate home of Johnson & Johnson
heir John Seward Johnson. The estate was converted into an award winning
golf club by his third wife Barbara Piasecka, who was of Polish decent
(Jasna Polana means “bright meadows” in Polish) following Johnson’s death.
Her goal was to make the golf course “world class” and selected Hall of Fame
golfer Gary Player and the PGA TPC to achieve this goal. The result has
been the identification of this beautiful golf course as one of the top
private golf courses in New Jersey by Golf Styles Magazine.
The legendary Gary Player
has created a very special golfing experience that balances a superb
challenge to golfers of all levels with beautiful vistas carved out of the
rolling hills, mature hardwood trees lining manicured fairways, numerous
lakes, creeks and ponds. All this adds to the challenge and spectacular
beauty of the golf course.
The golf course is carved
into a beautiful 230 acre piece of prime Princeton real estate by Gary
Player who wanted to challenge the golfer to use the wide range of golfing
skills required to play and score well, but to expose the golfer to a
variety of scenic views to make playing the course both an enjoyable
experience and rewarding.
